“Regicide Legacy” Continues Success in Follow-Up Campaign
“Regicide Legacy” Achieves Funding Success on Kickstarter
“Regicide Legacy,” the follow-up to the 2020 game “Regicide,” has successfully reached its funding goal on Kickstarter. Developed by Badgers from Mars, the game returns players to the fantasy world of Deccaria, now suffering from a mysterious corruption affecting its royalty. The campaign involves leading a group known as the Golden Blade Syndicate through 12 challenging missions, designed to progressively increase in complexity and intrigue.
The gameplay integrates cooperative elements that require players to work together to uncover the source of the corruption and combat its effects. Starting with an introductory mission that acquaints newcomers with the game mechanics, subsequent missions introduce new enemies, dynamic challenges, and unlockable rewards that enhance the strategic depth of the game. Players can also recruit new adventurers and access new classes, further diversifying their gameplay experience.
With the Kickstarter campaign continuing until June 7, “Regicide Legacy” has already gathered significant support, amassing $82,591 in pledges—well over its initial goal of $21,021—with 28 days remaining. This early success underscores the anticipation and enthusiasm of the gaming community for this new installment.
