Nightcrawler, recognized for his distinct appearance and compassionate nature, brings a unique set of skills to the game, particularly with his teleportation powers which are central to his gameplay. The hero pack includes a pre-built Protection deck that allows players to utilize these abilities immediately after unboxing.

Included in the hero pack are fifteen signature cards that emphasize Nightcrawler’s teleportation skills. The Bamf! upgrade, a notable feature of the pack, enables Nightcrawler to defend against attacks without exhausting, and allows for strategic gameplay maneuvers through his Rapid Teleportation ability, where players can reclaim the Bamf! card from their discard pile for repeated use.

The expansion is priced at $39.99 and is scheduled for release in August 2024. It requires an existing DC Deck-Building Game base set to play.

“Crisis Collection 2” focuses on cooperative play, integrating new game mechanics such as Unity Ongoing cards, Personal Crises, and Hidden Objective modes. These additions aim to increase the cooperative gameplay experience, requiring players to collaborate to overcome new challenges.

The expansion includes 28 Crisis cards, 28 FOIL oversized Character cards, and 28 Impossible Mode Super-Villains, enhancing the game’s complexity and challenge. It also adds 59 new Hero, Villain, Equipment, Super Power, Location, and Hidden Objective cards.

Included with each purchase of “Crisis Collection 2” are two promotional cards: the Red X and the first-printing Project Thaumaton card. These promotional cards are also available for preorder separately.

The third Crisis expansion integrates elements from the “Forever Evil” base game, introducing Crisis versions of its Super-Villains and new gameplay features that use Victory Point tokens for additional benefits. It also includes more playable characters from the Suicide Squad and introduces a new Contribute mechanism, which allows players to progress toward resolving Crises over multiple turns.

The fourth expansion features characters from the Teen Titans base game, adding new playable Titans and Unity cards that enhance the cooperative gameplay. X-Force Joins the Battle

Something menacing stirs behind the scenes, and at the core of a mysterious plot is the young, headstrong mutant, Hope Summers. With villains’ plans revolving around her, the stakes are higher than ever. Luckily, X-Force has arrived in Marvel Champions: The Card Game.

As the sixth campaign expansion, NeXt Evolution introduces a multitude of classic X-Force characters. Among them are two new playable heroes: Cable and Domino, each equipped with a pre-built deck that’s ready to play. Players can face off against notorious villains like the Marauders, Juggernaut, and Mister Sinister, working together to conquer new challenges.

The expansion offers five engaging scenarios, each delivering a unique experience. Players can tackle them individually or link them together for a more comprehensive campaign, providing additional depth and replayability.

As part of this new partnership, CMON will debut its first product – the Heroic Dice pack. This special pack features custom designs based on the game’s Core Rulebook. This fresh collaboration promises new games, and this time they are taking a plunge into the world of ‘Invincible’ – the hit series from Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley. The show has garnered massive popularity since its debut on Amazon Prime, with a second season already on the way.

The partnership also brings a delightful surprise for dice game enthusiasts. Following the success of “Hellboy: The Dice Game”, which was recently reviewed as ‘extremely satisfying’, ‘fabulous’ and ‘practically mandatory’ for Hellboy fans by Tabletop Gaming Magazine (April 2023), Mantic Games is all set to bring this fan-loved, card-and-dice gameplay to other universes.

In “The Walking Dead” game, players take on the roles of hopeful recruits for Rick Grimes’s group of survivors. Players must undertake a live supply run in a zone overrun by Walkers and other survivor groups, and the goal is to recover the most resources.

“Invincible: The Dice Game” transports players into the world of the Guardians of the Globe, where they must prove their worth by battling villains and outperforming other heroes. The player who earns the most reputation – without losing the respect of their peers – gets to join the Guardians.

For die-hard fans looking forward to these games, special pre-launch editions, inclusive of bonus cards, will be available ahead of the general retail release at San Diego Comic-Con (July 20 – 23, 2023) and at Gen Con (August 3 – 6, 2023). Moreover, both games will also be available for purchase online from July 20th. Given the excitement around these releases, stocks are expected to sell out fast.

“Longshot City,” a game powered by the TROIKA! system, allows players to delve into an adventure-packed universe where they can live out their superhero fantasies. Participants form a team of superheroes with the mission to deliver justice and fight against world-ending villains in the dangerous town of Longshot City.

A 70-page, lavishly illustrated hardcover book provides the basis for the gameplay. With only this book and a couple of six-sided dice, players can create years’ worth of comic-book adventures.

The game offers an expansive selection of Archetypes and Origins, offering 1,296 possible hero combinations. Players could become anything from a trenchcoat-clad mage who gained their powers after being sucked into a work of fiction, to a parasitic powersuit from outer space. For those whose imaginations know no bounds, guidelines are available for creating additional hero types.

With 36 unique player character archetypes, 36 hero origins, and 24 arch-nemesis, the gameplay possibilities seem endless. Furthermore, the game features three procedural campaign structures, enabling players to start running a superhero game almost immediately.

The game’s unique features include a Conspiracy Board system to track villains, their relationships, plans, and methods, and Escalation rules that set villainous plans in motion.
