With Gen Con starting tomorrow, expect a lot of previews about what will be at the show. And Cryptozoic is adding theirs to the pile as they show off what they’ll have there, including new stuff never seen before.

Cryptozoic Entertainment, leading creator of tabletop games, trading cards, and collectibles, today announced that it will feature numerous currently available games, previews of upcoming games, and several exclusives at Gen Con Indy, August 4-7 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.At Booth #403, there will be previews and demos of Epic Spell Wars of the Battle Wizards: ANNIHILAGEDDON 2 — XTREME NACHO LEGENDS, which will be available at retailers everywhere in late August. In addition, Epic Spell Wars: ANNIHILAGEDDON fans can buy the XTREME Nacho Power Trophy and limited copies of the Kickstarter-exclusive Gang Bangers expansion. All Epic Spell Wars purchases will include a R.S. Bixby Promo Card Set, while supplies last.

After a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign for the DC Deck-Building Game 10th Anniversary (over $1.08 million pledged), Cryptozoic will have early previews of the retail versions of DC Deck-Building Game: Injustice, Rivals – The Flash vs. Reverse-Flash, and Multiverse Box – Super Heroes Edition. In addition, fans can buy numerous products from the DC Deck-Building Game line, including a Gen Con-exclusive Super Heroes Playmat (which will also be a prize at tournaments). All DC DBG base game and expansion purchases will include a Gen Con-exclusive Zatanna Zatara Promo Card, while supplies last. This card will be given to tournament participants as well.

Moreover, Cryptozoic plans to preview all three upcoming titles from Steven Rhodes Games Vol. 2: Let’s Call the Exorcist, Cryptozoology for Beginners, and Living Well Is the Best Revenge. It will also sell the three best-selling Steven Rhodes Games Vol. 1 titles and the critically acclaimed Batman: The Dark Knight Returns — The Game. GCT Studios Previews Inari’s Judgement for Bushido

Bushido is getting itself a new faction this upcoming weekend as Inari’s Judgement is making its way to tabletops. Those at Gen Con will be able to pick them up directly from GCT at the show while the rest of us can still order the sets online during the weekend.

Gen Con 2022 Badges Go on Sale January 30th

Remember conventions? I do. They were so much fun. And the one I’ve been to far more than any other is Gen Con. It’s coming again this year to the ICC in August and badges are going on sale at the end of this month.

Gen Con, the largest and longest-running tabletop gaming convention in North America, today announced badge registration information and issued an update on health and safety procedures for its upcoming 2022 convention. Gen Con Indy 2022 will run August 4-7 in the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium, celebrating 55 years of events since Gen Con’s founding in 1968.

Badges for Gen Con Indy 2022 will go on sale Sunday, January 30 at noon Eastern on gencon.com. The convention will continue to operate in a hybrid format, featuring virtual Gen Con Online event programming as well as Pop-Up Gen Con in-store events across the country. All in-person participants in Gen Con Indy 2022 will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and wear a mask in all indoor spaces.

“After a successful return to in-person events in 2021, we can’t wait to return to Indianapolis for Gen Con Indy 2022,” said Gen Con President David Hoppe. “We look forward to celebrating 55 years of Gen Con with attendees in-person in the Indiana Convention Center, online through our livestreaming and Gen Con Online virtual events, and across the country at Pop-Up Gen Con in-store activations.”
