The Warhammer franchise and video gaming fans are in for a grand treat as the ultimate celebration of Warhammer video games, Warhammer Skulls 2023, has returned. Now in its seventh year, this event has never been more dynamic and expansive.
Presented by actor and devoted Ultramarines aficionado, Rahul Kohli, this year’s live show is filled with reveals, updates, and special offers for your favorite Warhammer games. Notably, Kohli voices the main character in Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, Malum Caedo. Topping the list of featured games is the first-ever AAA real-time strategy game set in the world of Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin. This epic adventure, developed by strategy game specialists Frontier Developments, invites players to take command of four factions in large-scale open warfare, with the opportunity to upgrade units using comprehensive tech trees.
Also highlighted is the debut of Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks, a thrilling vehicle combat game by Caged Element featuring chaotic 16-player matches.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 by Focus Interactive, where players will be pitted against the Tyranid horde, is another title showcased in the festival. Fans will also appreciate the news about Total War: Warhammer III, which will be featuring a new hero, the legendary Chaos Warrior Harald Hammerstorm, or Harry the Hammer.
We also have a sneak peek at the intriguing collaboration between the Warhammer franchise and FuturLab’s PowerWash Simulator, a game based on cleanup efforts after messy battles in the Warhammer universe.
