Modiphius Announces Organized Play And New Releases For Vampire: The Masquerade

Listening to Type O Negative while typing this seems rather appropriate. Anyway, one of the things about Vampire: The Masquerade is that they have a worldwide network of games that people will join in with. Sure, other games do this sort of thing as well, but it’s sort of one of the things V:TM is known for. And Modiphius is making sure that the newest edition continues that legacy. They’re signing up people now for their Organized Play system. They’ve also teased some new releases that you can look forward to.

Modiphius is now signing up Storytellers for the official Vampire the Masquerade 5th Edition Organised Play campaign. Following the launch at Gencon last year V5 has been growing incredibly fast worldwide and we’d love you to be part of the exciting chronicles we’ve got planned.

Organised Play for V5 is going to be a global event and we’ll be co-ordinating with our partners everywhere to bring you a series of fantastic free Chronicles tailor made for use at conventions, store events and in your own groups. White Wolf and Modiphius Announce Partnership for Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition

Vampire: The Masquerade is one of those venerable titles in gaming. You might not hear it quite as often as some others, but it’s withstood the test of time and is played by many all over the world. As such, it’s pretty big news when a new edition of it is looking to hit the streets. And that’s just what’s happening this year. The 5th edition will be coming out due to a partnership between White Wolf and Modiphius.

White Wolf Entertainment, creators of the World of Darkness and Vampire: The Masquerade, is partnering with Modiphius Entertainment to distribute Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition (V5) worldwide in English.

Vampire: The Masquerade, the classic that changed role-playing games forever, returns in a fifth edition! V5 features a streamlined and modern rules design, beautiful new full-color art, and a rich story experience for new and returning players. Powered by the innovative Hunger cycle, the game also includes rules for creating system supported character coteries, Loresheets to directly involve players with their favorite parts of the setting, and Memoriam, a new way to bring the character’s detailed backgrounds and expand on them in-session.

V5 is a return to Vampire’s original vision, moving boldly into the 21st century.
