A 33% discount is being offered on selected products from Fallout: The Roleplaying Game and Fallout: Wasteland Warfare lines. New Miniatures and Digital Gaming Options

The release of new miniatures linked to the Fallout series on Amazon Prime includes characters such as Lucy, Maximus, The Ghoul, and CX404. “The Wanderer’s Guide Book” offers new resources for creating wanderer characters, equipping them for survival, and navigating the challenges of the wasteland. It includes a range of new character origins, such as the Brotherhood Outcast, Child of Atom, Nightkin, and robots, among others. These origins are designed to provide players with more diverse options for character creation and development.

Players can also benefit from new scavenging opportunities with pre-built locations. These locations can be used as they are or adapted by players to suit their own stories. The expansion introduces a system where players can spend their Luck to discover more loot, adding an element of chance to scavenging.

With 54 new perks introduced, players have access to a broader array of abilities that can enhance their characters’ survival skills, combat efficiency, and other capabilities. The expansion emphasizes the SPECIAL system, which is central to character development in Fallout.

The Enclave Assault Force, despite its ominous reputation, is acknowledged for the efficiency of its soldiers. Despite their aggressive and sometimes ruthless approach, they undeniably add a formidable challenge to the game.

Modiphius also revealed Reilly’s Rangers, a set of mercenary models that stand out in the ruthless Wasteland. While they may be guns-for-hire, these characters follow a surprisingly strict moral code – a rare attribute among mercenaries in the post-apocalyptic world. Operating out of the Capital Wasteland, Reilly’s Rangers are always eager to take on the next mission, their unique armor adorned with a four-leafed clover emblem indicative of their positive mindset.

Modiphius’ final reveal was the Metal Dome, an infamous locale in Appalachia that serves as a dangerous fighting pit for rust-obsessed raiders. This grizzly setting, studded with rust-eaten debris, spikes, and lost limbs, promises to offer a hazardous and thrilling in-game environment. While it might not be the most inviting place in the Wasteland, the Metal Dome certainly adds an element of danger and surprise to the Fallout tabletop game.

In addition to these new releases, Modiphius shared photos from Adepticon, a tabletop gaming convention where players can engage in reenactments of battles from the Fallout universe. The photos showcased familiar terrain and characters from the games, as well as creative loot made from bottle caps and Vault Boy trophies.

Fans of Fallout: Wasteland Warfare can get their hands on the Capital Wasteland sourcebook starting April 14th, with a release date of May 12th for those in the United States. The new miniatures are also available for purchase.

One of the new factions is a massive moving casino called Mirage, which is pulled by a herd of Brahmin. The casino travels through the frozen Commonwealth, offering its visitors and residents a luxurious experience with gambling tables and a bar. However, the tensions around the harsh winter and strange happenings with the Children of Atom add an eerie atmosphere to the faction. The faction has also been plagued by people going missing, making it a perfect location for players to investigate and uncover the truth.

Another faction is the Freeques, a group of ghouls who have taken up residence in a decrepit circus tent called Big Top. They provide shelter for ghouls and synths under their performance space, but they are struggling to survive due to the onset of atomic winter. Their situation has forced them to seek supplies from the Children of Atom, and a protectron named D3N-Z3L claims that a military bunker they guarded contains information about a giant underground beast.

The Beats, a pacifist community of beatniks, live in Beatsville, a commune located inside a huge scrapheap. The Beats aim to bring enlightenment to the people of the Commonwealth through new art, music, and literature, but they are ill-equipped to survive the harsh winter. Their handmade creations used to provide a source of caps and supplies, but the winter has halted their efforts, and they may soon run out of manuscripts to burn.

Finally, the Sisters of the Forge are a small female group of blacksmiths and mechanics who operate Mechminster Abbey, a tattered church that is no longer used for religious purposes. The Sisters strongly oppose the Last Son of Atom and dedicate themselves to providing support to those fighting against his dangerous doctrine. However, the extreme winter conditions have left them vulnerable, and they may need to seek outside help to survive.

Winter of Atom offers a plethora of new factions and communities to discover, making it a perfect addition to any Fallout tabletop RPG campaign. Players can choose to ally with or fight against these new factions, adding a unique twist to their adventures in the Commonwealth Wasteland.

It’s an incredibly exciting time to be a Fallout tabletop RPG fan, as we get closer to the release of Winter of Atom, our campaign book for the Fallout roleplaying game. As the author of both the adventure in the back of the core rulebook ‘A Bang and a Whimper’ and ‘Once Upon a Time in the Wasteland’ we enlisted Donathin Frye once again to not only take the lead on the project, but to assemble a team full of awesome writing talent and passion for the Fallout universe, including Gabe Hicks, Jacky Leung, Chelsea ‘Dot’ Steverson, Chris Bissette, and designer on the classic Fallout games Jesse Heinig.

From the outset, the team wanted to ensure that Winter of Atom felt like a Fallout game, with a main quest running through the whole campaign, but with tons of opportunities for side quests and exploration. The first part of the campaign, starting with the adventure ‘The Train Job’, has a broad scope, requiring player characters to define their objectives and explore as they see fit. As the chapter advances, the main quests narrow in focus to channel the PCs into the growing conflict within the Commonwealth. This eventually leads them into ‘The Winter War’ where they’ll be defending settlements around the Commonwealth from a rogue sect of the Church of the Children of Atom and their dangerous, charismatic leader the “Son of Atom”.

Bloatflies are hideous, bulging monstrosities, mutated forms of the common modern flies. They will attack from afar, peppering their target with spines from their abdomen, but will sometimes fly closer to ensure their larvae can properly feast on their living prey. These predators are a horrific reminder that the Great War changed everything about the world we know.

The Radstags were once ordinary deer, living their lives in what would become the Commonwealth. The Great War mutated and twisted these animals, giving them second heads, small additional legs, and pus-filled radiation cysts. They are relatively docile animals but can be vicious when threatened.
