Renegade Game Studios Previews Justice & Mercy Crypt Pack for Vampire: The Masquerade Rivals
Renegade Game Studios has revealed some exciting details about the upcoming Justice & Mercy Crypt Pack, the latest expansion for their popular Vampire: The Masquerade Rivals card game. The pack features new cards that will support an alternate playstyle for each of the clans in the expansion.
The Banu Haqim and Salubri decks have already been previewed on YouTube, and now players can look forward to a range of new customization options with the Crypt Pack. These new cards are designed to complement the existing decks and provide players with new ways to play their favorite clans.
One of the new cards in the pack is Good Samaritan, which gives the Salubri clan a new way to score Agenda. This card allows players to engage with the entire table, helping weaker players and potentially scoring four Agenda per round if triggered on each player’s turn. The Castle Haven card provides additional mending for the Salubri and can trigger the Good Samaritan Agenda, providing a bonus card draw.
The Banu Haqim clan’s Traditionalist deck is focused on rituals and the clan’s adherence to tradition. Traditionalist cards provide ongoing effects, and the High Horse card rewards players for pursuing their traditions, making it less expensive to do so. Naomi is a strong choice for an attacker in a Traditionalist deck, with three options for Ongoing Traditions, while Szymon’s card draw ability self-replaces played Traditions, helping to fuel the engine.
The expansion is set to release in May, and pre-orders will receive alt-art leader cards at no additional cost. Brick and mortar retailers can sign up to receive the expansion two weeks early, along with promos, by filling out an early release form on the Vampire site.
