Explore North Africa’s Dark Secrets with The Blessed and the Blasphemous Call of Cthulhu Campaign on Kickstarter
The Blessed and the Blasphemous, a Call of Cthulhu campaign set in North Africa at the onset of WW2, is now on Kickstarter and has raised over $26,000 so far from its $10,000 goal with 28 days left to go. The campaign ends on May 8.
This six-scenario campaign takes place in Morocco between 1938 and 1941 and draws upon the region’s rich culture and history. Each scenario can be played independently or as a full campaign, featuring its own plot and final climactic act, ultimately leading to a grand finale.
The campaign book will be around 325+ pages containing six scenarios forming a cohesive pre-WW2 North African campaign, full of rich historical events and fascinating factions. It will also describe several key locations in Morocco and Algeria, including Casablanca, Fes, Rabat, Mers el Kebir, and Illizi, and include 24 unique pre-generated character sheets for easy pickup and play. Additionally, there will be tons of art, maps, and other useful Keeper’s Aids.
Those who support the project at the Blasphemous and Nug & Yeb tiers will receive the Campaign Dossier Set, which includes a Keeper’s Screen, Evidence Board, and pre-printed game handouts such as maps, character sheets, lore sheets, and campaign clues and vital information. This boxed collection of resources is designed to enhance your gaming experience as well as provide tools which you may use in other Call of Cthulhu campaigns.
The Blessed and the Blasphemous is a great opportunity for fans of Call of Cthulhu to dive into a rich and immersive campaign set in an often overlooked historical period and location. With over three weeks left in the campaign, there’s still plenty of time to support this project and get your hands on some amazing gaming materials.
