CMON and Japon Brand Enter Into Business Partnership to Expand Japanese Board Games Globally
CMON Limited has entered into a business partnership with Japon Brand, an agent and promoter of Japanese board games and card games. This partnership aims to leverage CMON’s infrastructure and management capabilities, enabling Japon Brand to continue promoting Japanese games internationally as an independent division.
Japon Brand, established in 2006, has been a key player in introducing successful Japanese games such as “Love Letter,” “Machi Koro,” and “Time Bomb” to international markets. Under the new arrangement, Japon Brand will maintain its operational independence while continuing its mission to deliver high-quality Japanese games worldwide.
Shouo Nomura, the newly appointed President of Japon Brand and a veteran board game designer, shared his perspective on the partnership: “The situation for Japan’s analog game industry has changed significantly over the past decade. While more creators are independently engaging with international markets, many still find ‘overseas’ challenging due to various factors. With the support from CMON, we expect to enhance our performance and reach.”
